For Mariners fans, when Paul Sewald strikes batters out, it usually means a Mariners win is imminent.
For Eastside Baby Corner (EBC) and the families they serve, it means so much more.
Paul and his wife, Molly, decided after last season that their reception from Mariners fans was so warm and welcoming that they wanted to give back to the Seattle community. They felt the best way to do that was by giving based on what Paul does best: strike batters out. And thus, “K’s for Kids” was born, in which the Sewalds donate $200 to EBC for each strikeout throughout the season.
