ARLINGTON, Texas — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that outfielder Keon Broxton has reported to the club. Broxton has been added to the Mariners, 25-man, active roster after Kristopher Negrón was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.
Broxton (#4) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s (5:05 pm PT) game against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park.
Broxton, 29, was claimed off waivers from Baltimore on Sunday (7/27) after designated for assignment by the Orioles on July 21.
