Norichika Aoki was 2 for 4 in his first game since being sent down by the Mariners as the Tacoma Rainiers won 6-2 at Fresno, Calif., in a Pacific Coast League game Monday night.
Aoki, playing in left field and leading off, had a double, a walk and an RBI.
Stefen Romero was the DH for Tacoma (44-33) and had two hits. Romero is batting .336 for the Rainiers this season.
Right-hander Joe Weiland started for Tacoma and allowed two runs in five innings, striking out seven.
Casey Coleman pitched a nearly perfect final two innings for the save, his fourth.
