SEATTLE -- Brad Miller was scratched from the lineup before Sunday's series finale against the Rockies with neck spasms.
Miller was slated to bat eighth and play center field. James Jones, who logged his first two hits of the season in Seattle's 4-2 loss to Colorado on Friday, started the game in center and hit in the ninth spot, while catcher Steve Baron was moved up to eighth in the lineup.
Miller went 1-for-4 and played shortstop on Friday. The 25-year-old is hitting .253 with nine home runs and 41 RBIs this season.
