Memphis starter Dakota Hudson allowed three hits in six innings and combined with three relievers in a 6-0 victory Thursday night over the Tacoma Rainiers.
Hudson (7-2) limited the Rainiers to three singles by Daniel Vogelbach, Kirk Nieuwenhuis and Garrett Kennedy. He struck out four and walked two.
Matt Bowman, Greg Holland and Andrew Morales each pitched one scoreless inning, not allowing a hit.
Five Redbirds each had two hits. Oscar Mercado doubled in two runs.
Ashton Goudeau (1-3) took the loss, allowing three runs, two earned, on seven hits in two innings.
