SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following medical update on Mariners right-handed pitcher Matt Magill:
Magill, 30, had an arthroscopic debridement surgery on his right shoulder. The surgery was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles yesterday (Sept. 15, 2020).
Magill will begin his rehabilitation immediately and is expected to be recovered in time to appear in Spring Training games in 2021.
Magill was placed on the 10-day Injured List with a right shoulder strain on Aug.
