We saw two different Peoria Javelinas teams over the first half of the AFL season. We saw the dominating offense powerhouse squad that jumped out to a 10-1-2; then we saw the team that leveled off and ended the first half of the season with an 11-8-2 record.
However, whether the Javelinas were losing or winning, the Mariners, Tyler Marlette kept on fighting. Marlette had his ups and downs during the first half of the shortened season. Yet, when it was all said and done, he ended up putting up very good numbers, especially compared to what he did down at AA Jackson this past year.
