Originally selected by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 2012 draft, Edwin Diaz has quickly become one of the top young hurlers in the organization. The 21-year-old right-hander was named the M’s Minor League Starting Pitcher of the Year in 2015, and represented the Mariners at last season’s Futures Game.
