The Seattle Mariners on Thursday will unveil their latest tribute to Ken Griffey Jr., a statue depicting The Kid's legendary swing.
The statue will rest near the home-plate gate, on the corner of Edgar Martinez Drive and Dave Niehaus Way outside Safeco Field.
The first 45,000 fans at Friday night's game against the Texas Rangers will receive a replica of the Griffey statue. Twenty four randomly selected replica statues will be signed by Griffey himself.
