SEATTLE -- The Mariners will pay tribute to the men and women serving in the U.S. military on Sunday with the 14th annual Boeing Salute to Armed Forces Day. The ceremonies, which will take place prior to the game against the Texas Rangers at 1:10 p.m. PT, will be streamed live on MLB.com.
Fifteen thousand fans in attendance will receive a special commemorative coin, courtesy of Boeing, as service persons from six branches of the military will be honored and will throw out simultaneous ceremonial first pitches. They are: Sgt. Sean Rowell of the U.S. Army; Navy Counselor-Petty Officer First Class Sara Dozier of the U.
