Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager will have surgery to repair injured tendons in his left hand, the club announced Monday.
Mangaer Scott Servais said Seager is expected to at least miss the month of April, but did not have a definitive timetable for the veteran’s return.
Seager was injured during Friday night’s loss to the Cubs diving for a ball.
