SEATTLE, WA — The Seattle Mariners announced today that, after 15 years as the Medical Director and Orthopedic Surgeon of the Seattle Mariners, Dr. Ed Khalfayan is turning the position over to another doctor at the end of December.
“On behalf of the Mariners and all of our players, I want to thank Ed for all he has done for the franchise the last 15 years,” Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto said. “His contributions have been pivotal in developing modernized sports medicine programs and orthopedic care for the Mariners.
