ST. PETERSBURG -- Kyle Seager did in the Rays with two home runs on Tuesday night at Tropicana Field, leading the Mariners to a 7-6 win in 10 innings.
Facing Brad Boxberger with one out in the 10th, Seager connected on an 0-2 fastball that went over the center-field wall for his second home run of the game and a one-run lead for the Mariners.
The dramatic turnaround came after the Rays erased the Mariners' three-run lead in the ninth, when they loaded the bases with no outs against Fernando Rodney. Evan Longoria then delivered a two-run double and Jake Elmore hit into a fielder's choice that tied the score at 6 and gave Elmore four RBIs.
