Mariners Continue Winning Ways:
The Mariners scored runs in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings to come from behind to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers 6–2 at Peoria Stadium on Thursday afternoon. The Mariners extended their winning streak to three games and improved to 5–1 in their first six Cactus League games.
Catcher Carlos Ruiz led the team with 2 hits and recorded 1 RBI, while center fielder Boog Powell, right fielder Nelson Cruz, catcher Sebastian Valle and left fielder Guillermo Heredia each drove in at least 1 of the team’s 6 runs.
