Furbush posted a 2.08 ERA over 33 relief appearances last season before going on the disabled list on July 9. The 29-year-old missed the rest of the season with left biceps tendinitis and a slight rotator cuff tear. Since shifting full-time to the bullpen in 2012, Furbush owns a 3.23 ERA, a .196 opponents' average and 201 strikeouts over 175 1/3 innings.
