The Mariners sent rookie Andrew Moore to Class AAA Tacoma and recalled veteran Christian Bergman before Saturday’s game.
The move is yet another roster shuffle for a team that has made plenty this season. On Friday, Moore allowed four runs in a relief appearance — the first of his big-league career.
But the Mariners need another, fresh arm in the bullpen, so Bergman replaced Moore.
“I don’t know if we have enough guys to keep doing it every day,” Mariners manager Scott Servais said. “Eventually we’re going to have to try to settle in and keep some things going here.
