SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
- Matt Brash, RHP, selected from Triple-A Tacoma.
- Matt Andriese, RHP, designated for assignment.
The Mariners 40-man Major League roster remains at 39 players. Seattle’s active roster remains full at 28 players.
Brash will be in uniform (#47) and available for tonight’s (7:10 pm PT) game against the Athletics.
Brash, 23, has posted a 2.31 ERA (25 ER, 97.1 IP) with 48 walks and 142 strikeouts over 20 minor league appearances (19 starts) between High-A Everett (10 G, 9 GS) and Double-A Arkansas (10 GS) this season.
