CLEVELAND, Ohio — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today the following roster moves:
· Ty France, INF, reinstated from 10-day Injured List (right heel fracture).
· Seby Zavala (SEB-ee zuh-VA-luh), C, designated for assignment.
The Mariners 40-man, Major League roster is now at 37 players.
France, 29, was placed on the Injured List on June 9 (retroactive to June 8) with a right heel fracture. He suffered the injury after he was hit-by-pitch in his right heel on Friday, June 7 at Kansas City.
