Mariners Recall Right-Handed Pitcher Erik Swanson from Alternate Training Site

SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:

  • Erik Swanson, RHP, recalled from the Alternate Training Site.
  • Joe Odom, C, optioned to the Alternate Training Site (postgame, Aug. 1).

Swanson will be in uniform (#50) and available for today’s (1:10 pm PT) game against the Oakland Athletics at T-Mobile Park.

Swanson, 26, was optioned to the Alternate Training Site on July 23 as the Mariners set their Opening Night roster.
