Mariners Recall RHP Wyatt Mills from Triple-A Tacoma

SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:

  • Wyatt Mills, RHP, recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.
  • Justus Sheffield, LHP, optioned to Triple-A Tacoma (retro. Sept. 26).

The Mariners active roster remains full at 28 players.

Mills, 26, was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Sept. 4. He made one appearance during his most recent stint with the Mariners, tossing 1.0 IP and allowing 1 ER on Aug. 28 vs. KC. Overall this season, he has appeared in 11 games over 6 stints with the Mariners, going 0–0 with a 9.
