Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today that the Mariners have recalled right-handed pitcher Emilio Pagan from AAA Tacoma. To make room on the Major League, 25-man, roster right-handed pitcher Tyler Cloyd has been optioned to AAA Tacoma.
Pagan (#54) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s (7:10 p.m. PT) game vs. the Toronto Blue Jays at Safeco Field.
Pagan, 26, is in his third stint with Seattle this season (also: May 22–24 & May 2–6). He tossed 4.0 shutout innings in relief May 23 vs. the Nationals, allowing just 1 hit while striking out 4.
