PHOENIX, Ariz. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Brady Lail, RHP, recalled from the alternate training site.
· Shed Long Jr., INF, placed on the 10-day Injured List with a right shin stress fracture (retroactive to Sept. 10).
Lail (#62) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s (6:40 pm PT) game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Lail, 27, was optioned to the alternate training site on Wednesday (9/9). He has pitched in 4 games for the Mariners this season, covering 8.
