INF/DH Ty France Placed on 10-day Injured List
SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Jack Mayfield, INF, recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.
· Ty France, INF/DH, placed on 10-day Injured List (left wrist inflammation).
Mayfield (#8) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s game vs. Cleveland.
Mayfield, 30, made his Triple-A Tacoma debut on May 13, going 3-for-6 with 2 runs and 1 RBI. The right-handed hitting infielder was claimed off waivers by Seattle from Los Angeles-AL on April 27.
