SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Donovan Walton, INF, recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.
· Evan White, INF, placed on 10-day Injured List (strained left hip flexor).
Walton (#31) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s game vs. Cleveland.
Walton, 26, is batting .313 (10x32) with 3 runs, 2 doubles, 4 RBI and 2 walks in 7 games with Triple-A Tacoma this season. He was appointed as 27th man for the April 13 doubleheader at Baltimore.
