MARYVALE, Ariz. — The Mariners and Brewers finished in a 7–7 tie this afternoon at American Family Fields of Phoenix. The Mariners offense tallied 12 hits, including three consecutive in the last inning, to force a tie game.
Right-hander Chris Flexen made his second start of the spring for the Mariners, pitching 4.0 innings. He allowed four earned runs on five hits and three home runs, walking one and striking out two. The Mariners finished the game in a deadlock with the Brewers despite Milwaukee hitting five homers on the afternoon.
Taylor Trammell hit his first home run of the spring for Seattle, sending an Adrian Houser offering over the fence in the top of the third.
