Seattle Mariners players went back to school before Thursday’s game against the Texas Rangers to inspire students at Seattle area elementary schools to achieve their dreams.
For the 21st Annual Education Day, the entire Mariners team was divided up and sent to Grand Ridge Elementary in Issaquah, White Center Heights School in South Seattle, Dearborn Park International School on Beacon Hill and Isaac Stevens Elementary on Capitol Hill to present the Mariner Moose DREAM Team assembly to students.
The DREAM Team is a fun program that stresses the importance of the DREAM principles: Drug-free, Respect for yourself and others, Education through reading, Attitude and Motivation to achieve your dreams.
