Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced the following roster move at the Mariners Major League spring camp today:
· RHP Rob Whalen, optioned to AAA Tacoma.
Today’s roster move leaves the Mariners with 38 players in their Major League camp: 30 roster players and 8 non-roster invitees.
