OAKLAND--After the loss Saturday afternoon I think we saw and heard in some of his comments one of the few true hints of frustration from Lloyd McClendon. This morning in his pre game talk with the media he confirmed what we thought we saw. It's tough to find answers why this offense cannot get on any sort of consistent roll.
"I think the frustrating part of it is when you score 9 one night and you come back against a guy who is not a dominant pitcher and you get shut out, that's a little frustrating," he admitted.
