I am doing something a little different today. Today is Roberto Clemente Day and as such, I spent pre game gathering sound both on Clemente and the influence he has on players to this day for a piece that would run on the pre game show. I only had 5 minutes for the piece and had far more sound that I hate to see go to waste so I am sharing it here.
The Clemente story is one of the most incredible in the history of baseball. A Hall of Famer, a humanitarian, a hero and a player considered by many to be a pioneer, his story is one of the most important in the game.
