Dipoto’s name has been linked to the Mariners for weeks, and it appears they got their top target. The M’s will officially introduce Jerry Dipoto during a press conference on Tuesday in Seattle.
Mariners’ president Kevin Mather released a statement today introducing Jerry Dipoto to the media and the fans. “Jerry impressed us at each step of the process. He has a very unique skill set, having been a successful player in the Majors, then moving into front offices with steadily increasing responsibilities.
