SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Director of Player Development Justin Toole announced today that infielder Hogan Windish has been named Mariners Minor League Player of the Month, right-handed pitcher Tyler Cleveland Pitcher of the Month and right-handed pitcher Sam Carlson Reliever of the Month for August.
Windish, 24, batted .324 (34x105) with 24 runs, 5 doubles, 2 triples, 9 home runs, 23 RBI and 70 total bases in 26 August games, slugging .667 with a 1.037 OPS. Windish ended the month on an 11-game hitting streak.
