PEORIA, Ariz. — Manager Scott Servais won’t lament the injuries that are starting to mount this spring training. He won’t openly blame the upside down trident on the Mariners’ spring training hats as the curse of Poseidon and arm issues. But each day, his list of updates on players, who are ailing, recovering or getting tests grows a little longer.
You can add reliever Nick Rumbelow to it now.
The hard-throwing right-hander has been shutdown with shoulder discomfort. Rumbelow will meet with Dr. Edward Khalayan on Monday to go over the results from his tests, including a MRI.
