In Mariners news:
- The latest Baseball America mock draft has the Mariners taking Colton Cowser (OF Sal Frelick from Boston College and Texas RHP Ty Madden are both off the table already in this mock). I wouldn’t hate that, but also, wow the draft starts tomorrow!
- The Mariners signed 3B Liam Sabino to a minor league contract. Sabino was drafted in 2015 in a round that no longer exists, the 25th round, similar to his college roommate and current Seattle Mariner minor-leaguer, Penn Murfee.
