Mariners mash past A's in 7th, win 3rd straight

SEATTLE -- Even with several of their power bats sidelined by injuries, the Mariners continue getting offensive production, and Friday it was Mitch Haniger and Daniel Vogelbach providing the punch as Seattle won its third straight with a 7-4 victory over the A's at Safeco Field.

Haniger's three-run homer in the seventh put the Mariners in the lead and Vogelbach followed with a two-run shot -- the first of his career -- to provide some cushion as Seattle improved to 7-4 on the season.

Haniger tied a career-best with four RBIs in a 2-for-4 night and Kyle Seager went 3-for-4 with an RBI double as the top of Seattle's order continued to shine even with Nelson Cruz on the disabled list, along with catcher Mike Zunino, first baseman Ryon Healy and left fielder Ben Gamel.
