The Seattle Mariners will mark James Paxton’s historic no-hitter Tuesday night in Toronto with a celebration at Safeco Field on Friday, May 18, against the Detroit Tigers. Paxton is projected as the Mariners starting pitcher for the game.

Paxton pitched Major League Baseball’s third no-hitter of the season, and the sixth no-hitter in Mariners history, against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre last night.
