The Mariners youth movement continues to gain steam as shortstop J.P. Crawford and first baseman Evan White have been named 2020 Rawlings® American League Gold Glove winners at their respective positions. Each playing in their 25-year-old season or younger, White and Crawford both project as key pieces in the club’s future, and together, they anchored a Mariners defense that boasted the 3rd-best fielding percentage in the Majors, despite being the youngest roster in the league this season.
Pair White and Crawford with rookie standouts Kyle Lewis and Justus Sheffield, and the Mariners appear to have something special brewing in Seattle.
