Happy Alvin Davis Day, everyone!
That’s right, by mayoral decree, today, May 31, 2024, is officially Alvin Davis Day. The proclamation recognizes “Davis’s dedication and commitment to fostering the Seattle Mariners legacy and our Greater Seattle community.” In commemoration, Mr. Mariner himself will throw out the first pitch at tonight’s game. With it also being College Night and Country Music Fireworks Night, it’s a busy day at the ballpark.
And don’t forget: tomorrow is Pride Day at T-Mobile park! The first 10,000 fans to arrive will receive a specialty pride trucker hat. In addition, T-Mobile customers who enter through the T-Mobile gate will get two free drinks from the Copper Bar in the ‘Pen.
