So why then am I not only committed to staying up for but also recapping after tonight’s game that does not even start until 8:10 in my time zone?

Logan Gilbert, my perfect boy, will make the (almost certainly) final start of his superb 2024 season tonight. Throughout the Mariners’ struggles this year, Gilbert has been a shining beacon of excellence. I have a personal policy against watching the Mariners play the Astros without a very good reason—a policy I highly recommend.
