PEORIA, Ariz. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the club has invited 24 non-roster players to Major League Spring Training.
“This spring’s invitees provide us with an exciting mix of top prospects in our organization and experienced players who have the potential to make an immediate impact,” Dipoto said. “These players make up a great complementary group to our Major League, 40-man roster players in camp.”
The 24 non-roster invitees include 13 pitchers: LHP Kyle Bird, LHP Roenis Elías, RHP David Ellingson, RHP Matt Festa, RHP George Kirby, RHP Travis Kuhn, LHP Ian McKinney, RHP Levi Stoudt, RHP Devin Sweet, RHP Patrick Weigel, LHP Brandon Williamson, RHP Asher Wojciechowski and LHP Danny Young.
