Mariners drop nail-biter with Angles in 11th

Pujols then stole third -- his first stolen base of the year -- and scored on a fielder's choice grounder by Andrelton Simmons to give the Angels a two-run cushion on their way to their eighth win in 10 games to put their record at 15-13.

Kole Calhoun's two-run homer in the eighth off Mariners closer Edwin Diaz had provided the Angels a 4-3 lead, and left fielder Cameron Maybin preserved that with a homer-robbing catch of a deep drive by Guillermo Heredia in the bottom of the inning, but the Mariners rallied off Bud Norris in the ninth to tie the game at 4 on Robinson Cano's RBI single.
