SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today the following roster moves:
- Sammy Peralta, LHP, claimed off waivers from the Chicago White Sox.
The Mariners Major League, 40-man roster is now at 39 players.
Peralta, 25, will report to Triple-A Tacoma. He has yet to appear in a game this season. He pitched in 3 Spring Training games with the White Sox, going 0–1 with a 5.40 ERA (3.1 IP, 2 ER), 1 walk, 2 strikeouts and 1 home run allowed.
