The first pieces of the Mariners’ step back have arrived: With Dee Gordon and Dylan Moore banged up, Seattle called up two of its recently acquired top infield prospects, J.P. Crawford and Shed Long, from Class AAA Tacoma on Friday. Crawford will make his Mariners debut at 4:10 p.m. Friday in Boston.
The Mariners placed Moore on the 10-day injured list with a right wrist contusion and optioned Chasen Bradford to Tacoma.
Crawford, who was hitting .319 with three home runs and 15 RBI in 31 games with the Rainiers, will wear No. 3 for the Mariners, and Long, who was hitting .
