The Tacoma Rainiers completed their season last night, meaning Seattle’s ranks are now replete with 36/40 members of the 40-man roster. While Marco Gonzales remains on the 10-day DL, only Matt Festa (AA), Nick Rumbelow (AA), injured Max Povse, and rehabbing Dan Altavilla remain in the minors.

With Tacoma’s season ending last night, Mariners make another round of September callups. Recall

Gordon Beckham will join the rotation of potential backup infielders and pinch-runners, but with the healthy rotation of the typical starters around the diamond yielding more savory offensive numbers, Gord figures to see sparing use.
