The Mariners made a few a roster moves before opening the second-half of the season on Friday night vs. the Chicago White Sox.
First baseman Daniel Vogelbach and outfielder John Andreoli were recalled from Class AAA Tacoma, while right-handed reliever Mike Morin cleared waivers and was removed the from the 40-man roster and outrighted back to Tacoma.
The stay for one of the two position players figures to be only one game. With Felix Hernandez scheduled to return from the disabled list on Saturday to start in the second game of the series with the White Sox, the Mariners will have to make room on their active roster.
