The Seattle Mariners today announced their 2016 Cactus League schedule, a 33-game slate which includes 18 home games at the Peoria (Arizona) Sports Complex. The Mariners and San Diego Padres open their spring schedules on Wednesday, March 2 at 1:10pm (12:10pm PST) in the annual charity game, with proceeds benefitting local charitable and youth organizations in the Peoria area. The two teams meet again on Thursday, March 3.
The home schedule features four night games:
- Saturday, March 12 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers (7:40pm/6:40pm PST);
- Saturday, March 19 vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks (7:10pm);
- Wednesday, March 23 vs.
