Muñoz is now under club control through the end of the 2028 season
SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that the Mariners have agreed to a 4-year contract extension with right-handed pitcher Andrés Muñoz through the end of the 2025 season, with club options for 2026, 2027 & 2028.
Muñoz was entering his final year of pre-arbitration eligibility in 2022 and would have been arbitration eligible in 2023–25. The new deal extends through 2025, with club options for 2026–28.
