Just before this past Friday’s deadline for exchanging arbitration figures, the Mariners reached agreement with three of their arbitration-eligible players. According to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, the deals are:
- Tom Murphy, in his final year of arbitration, will be paid $1.625 million;
- Paul Sewald, who’s in his second year, settled on $4.1 million; and
- Ty France, in his first year off the league-minimum salary, will also make $4.1 million.
However, the Mariners are yet to come to agreements with arbitration-eligible players Dylan Moore, Diego Castillo, and Teoscar Hernández.
