The Mariners added to their overall bullpen depth with a pair of roster moves before Sunday’s series finale against the Angels. Right-hander Drew Storen (shoulder inflammation) was activated from the disabled list, while left-hander David Rollins was recalled from Class AAA Tacoma.
Both pitchers will be available if needed. Storen was expected to be activated when he was eligible to come off the disabled list. The inflammation was a minor issue. But given the Mariners’ roster issues at the time, they had to place him on the DL.
“He should be good to go,” manager Scott Servais said.
