ANAHEIM, Calif. — The Mariners added three players to their active roster from Class AAA Tacoma on Monday morning, recalling first baseman Dan Vogelbach, infielder Cody Martin and right-handed pitcher Cody Martin. Sources confirmed the call-ups on Sunday.
Seattle now has 35 players on its active roster for the final stretch of the games of the season.
All three players have arrived in Anaheim for Monday night’s series opener vs. the Angels. With Adam Lind suffering a sprained index finger on his right hand in Sunday’s win over the A’s, there is a chance that Vogelbach could be in the starting lineup with the Angels scheduled to start right-hander Ricky Nolasco.
