Mariners Activate OF Mitch Haniger from the DL; Recall RHP Casey Lawrence

Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:

· Mitch Haniger, OF, returned from rehab assignment and activated from the 10-day disabled list.
· Casey Lawrence, RHP, recalled from AAA Tacoma.
· Jarrod Dyson, OF, placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain (retroactive to 8/17)
· Sam Gaviglio, RHP, optioned to AAA Tacoma.

Haniger (#17) and Lawrence (#61) will be in uniform and available for today’s (3:10 p.m. PT) game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field.
